Position Title: Marketing and Communications Manager

Location: Houston, TX

Reports To: Business Operations Manager

BORON+ products target critical, high value applications within electric transportation, clean energy, food and domestic security. The company’s advanced materials business is underpinned by its low cost, light environmental touch boron resource in Southern California.

Purpose: Manage corporate and social media communications, website(s), and other digital platforms to promote 5E’s brand and help raise public interest in and awareness of the company, which will produce and sell critical materials (boron and lithium) that enable decarbonization applications. Support efforts to build a consistent brand identity with aligned messaging.

Position Summary: As a marketing and communications manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing web and intranet communication strategies on the company website and social media platforms, including weekly investor and technical blogs. Assist with development and execution of communications plans to support business development efforts, customer relationship experience, employee engagement. This involves updating and optimizing website content and various forums, analyzing user traffic and engagement against competitors, and adjusting content and digital marketing strategies to meet key business objectives.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Position:

  • Manage all marcom activities: create, manage, and update all content on website and social media channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, etc.)
  • Create and publish 2-3 blog posts weekly
  • Manage CMS: upload documents, write and edit webpage, and optimize SEO
  • Analyze website traffic and perform analysis of other programs and marketing campaigns
  • Create and manage digital/SERP/social advertising campaigns (paid, organic)
  • Target, influence, and support external social media platforms, influencers, and authors to market to and influence their promotional blog posts and content
  • Community outreach and engagement to grow brand awareness
  • Analyze, track, report, and continuously improve digital content strategy

Education, Credentials, and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; major in communications, Marketing, Business (preferred)
  • 4-8 years of experience
  • Proficient in CMS, SEO/Google Analytics, Ad Copywriting and Design Platforms, Social Media Channels and Management Platforms, and Web and Email Hosting
